I just started having the same issue after replacing all batteries. My speedometer does not work. After a charge and disconnection, it starts out fast, but quickly goes into slow mode after just a few feet. I have orange blinks on the status, but haven't decoded yet.

When mine quit (hall sensor) it just needed a 10k pull-up from red to green.

Check with meter from black to green. Roll cart slowly. Should go from near 0v to red volts (high).
If it doesn't reach the level of red, a pull-up may fix it, as it did mine.

Where can I get a speed sensor that you mentioned in your post?

Resetting power may or may not help.
Your help would be greatly appreciated
I have a 2010 Vanish that is doing similar to this. if i run it on flat ground it's fine, but if I try to go up the hill in my back yard it stops, then will buck and go like a foot or so, then stop and this repeats until I get up to near the top of the hill, then it runs fine again. Seems like when it's loaded like going up the hill it won't work. Is there an inclinometer on the Vanish that won't let it go up a steep hill?
