Re: Tomberlin E2 48SS Battery Charing Problem "!!"
So should each battery read 50+v or should all 6 batteries have a voltage that adds up to 50+v?

Re: Tomberlin E2 48SS Battery Charing Problem "!!"
Glad to hear it's charging now.
Always leave the batteries fully charged after every day it's used. If your leaving it sit for any longer than 2 weeks, place in the tow mode. Sounds like your batteries are so bad that they probably won't last long. Have a reputable golf cart shop load test the batteries. If the dealer won't replace them, I would count on short run times and replacement in the next year or 2. |

Re: Tomberlin E2 48SS Battery Charing Problem "!!"
So you don't think the batteries will hold a charge for very long? just guesstimating?
Yeah i'll start calling around to see if I can find a place to load test them. The plan is to take this to the golf course, I guess i can just run it up and down near my house for a while to see what my battery life is until I can have it load tested. |

Good idea, run it, charge it, run it, charge it.
I would get them load tested and keep the documentation for your fight with the dealer about the new batteries you would like them to supply. If you're keeping at the golf course, call them and see if they have a load tester or who does their service and have your cart done there. |

Re: Tomberlin E2 48SS Battery Charing Problem "!!"
Each battery has about 7.5 volts in it right now. Is it supposed to have 50+ volts each or should each battery add up to 50+ volts?

Re: Tomberlin E2 48SS Battery Charing Problem "!!"
8v batteries after they have been charged and left resting for more than an hour need to be at least 8.49v to be considered 100% charged.
8.49v x 6 = 50.94v is 100% charged pack. Your battery charger will likely push the whole 48v battery bank to between 59v and 61v before it shuts off. After resting is will settle down to around 51v, anything less and the batteries are probably no good already. |

Based on the condition of your batteries, it could take up to 16 hours for the charger to complete it's cycle.
