Unhappy 2010 Tomberline emerge

I just received a 2010 timberline emerge and it won't go. Charged batteries everything is working lights, upper fan reverse buzzer comes on but it won't move.

After charging for a couple days it went in reverse about 100 yards and quite.

Any suggestions?

The easiest way to find the issue is to have someone scan it. OR look at the front of the controller and see what the light is flashing, to figure out what the code is.

IT'S A TOMBERLIN ---Be sure the parking brake is released. Take the screws out of the brake boot and you will see a switch below the brake handle. put a folded piece of cardboard (1/4 inch) between the brake handle tab and the switch. This is a kill switch to prevent running with parking brake on. If cart will now move readjust the switch holding bolts to get the switch shaft higher. Or, better yet bend the brake handle tab down a little. But if still no movement come back on the forum

The last thing you want is a shop guessing and part swapping. A good shop would scan the codes first. Time for a new shop

Manual may help ...
http://mobiletomberlin.net/downloads...010-2011-1.pdf

See Chapter 10, page 17. 1 flash then 5 flashes appears to mean Motor Failure.

Let us know what you find out. Good luck.

The story keeps coming dealer found front brake lock, broke lose now code shows overheated probably because of the lock hub. Disconnect the motor and tested motor is good. Change speed sensor its ok so put old one back in going to try and replace Hall effect sensor as someone has suggested in forum. Hopefully we get this baby running soon enough quite the learning experience.
