Re: MuayThai41's TXT bodied 95 EZGO "El Gato"
I know what the ITS is. I have now 10 ezgo's which I am working
and I modified 16 up to now... i was meaning this white thing under the newer microswitch: I guess I already figured it out anyway, and is it probably a piece of something to elevate the microswitch... then the wires seems to be just going around... you tell me... I like that boost switch a lot !!! |

Thats an aluminum L bracket to hold the micro. The camera flash made it look white. 2 stainless screws hold it to the side of the ITS box. There was quite a bit of extra wire left.....rather have to much wire than not enough.

Sorry for the long delay, I've been away on a business trip. Roady will give you all the correct answers seeing as how he's responsible for the majority of the ideas.
We have the advantage of having alot of stuff laying around that we can "borrow" from. It makes the process go much faster. I still haven't had a chance to make the 108 Volt boost pack yet, I made an attempt at welding the battery tray for the bag well. Needless to say, I'll leave the welding to my betters. I can slap on a MEAN layer of spray paint though! With any luck, there will be 108 pics and vids this week..things just got too busy! Last edited by MuayThai41; 07-28-2007 at 09:55 PM.. |

Re: MuayThai41's TXT bodied 95 EZGO "El Gato"
I got a chance to play with "el gato" today while muaythia was at home asleep. I guess the brushes needed to be broken in or seated because it seems faster now than when we first put the EMP motor in. The motor is holding up to the 72 volts with no problems....again....boost isn't used all the time but more now than before the motor swap. Its been almost 5 months and the boost circuit has held up with no problems.
On the first gen boost we were using the A2 terminal which was giving us problems. Fortunately the A2 is not even needed so we just did away with it. |
