Hogs like to rub in stuff that will cut down on their parasites. I suspect that's what they would do with coal. They love creosote off old posts or old motor oil.
I believe that was a corsican ewe (but I'm not positive). There were also black hawaiians in that herd, but mostly corsicans. I saw about 3 rams in the 20 or 30 sheep in that herd, hence their desire to take a few ewes out. We made some Gyro meat out of her and it was excellent. Here's a shot of 3 rams and some of the ewes: Gorno, you crack me up. George |
