Default Just picked up a 18hp vtwin and have some ??

Hey guys I just got a 18hp vtwin not sure of brand

Model number is 350447 type is 0119-014952 code is 93081811

And I do not have a key switch/harness so is there anyway to start it with out ?? If so how ?

Anyone ? Can I just Juno it with jumper cables or to I have to wire up extra wires

Yammi You will need a fuel source line to carb then battery from there you'll need a 12V wire to the carb solenoid at the bottom of the carb. Ground the - battery to the engine block then comes the tricky part you'll need to supply + voltage to the started motor in this case I would use a remote starter button but I guess you could just apply it direct from the battery but you'll get a momentary arc when first applied to the starter and it will crank and should start. Now you need to shut it down and normally the post on the fan housing grounded to the block will do this as it grounds the coils. I would think if you ground this post to the block it would shut down but if not just remove the + to the carb solenoid and let it run out of fuel.
