Lowered front suspension
Hello all. I just flipped my front leaf spring on a 96 ds and now I need a shorter set of shocks. Previous posters never mentioned a brand so I want to know what company in us sells shocks with an extended length of about 9". 8" is the shortest i can use. I found a company called Machine 7 that has Spax produce these short lengths for them but its European and my club car is American.. Cart is **** near down on tires already but I guess I need shocks. Tx

Re: Lowered front suspension
I bought mine at a CC dealer and IIRC they were Monroes. You may check Monroes site and see if they have any info.

Re: Lowered front suspension
I've never seen any shocks that are as short as the ones on a golf cart, much less anything shorter than that, unless you're talking RC car sized.
Might have to make something like this guy did. Looks like $20 worth of steel and could be bolted together easy if you don't have a welder. https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/show...4&postcount=17 |
