625cc VC replacement motor troubles
Long story short my 625cc motor was burning a lot of oil, so i ordered a replacement. Now it is undriveable, runs out of fuel, spark plugs is really white in color, i replaced fuel lines, pulse line, fuel pump, replace spark plug with NGK. Only way i can keep it from running out of fuel is to hook up an electric fuel pump and run a dual outlet fuel pump with one line going to the carb and the other dumping back into the gas tank. Any help you guys can give me would be great, Old motor ran great besides burning oil and bam put new motor in a NOGO. Only thing that is different on the new motor is they moved the pulse signal port to the valve cover. Thanks

Change the vacuum fuel pump to a Briggs unit and replace all the rubber lines.

Re: 625cc VC replacement motor troubles
Might be worth pulling the carb and giving it a good cleaning. Maybe one of the passages is clogged with crud? What NGK plug did you go with?
