I would like to know if the F&R switch in my 2001 DS clubcar is a heavy duty switch or not. Can someone tell me how to identify whether a F&R switch is HD or not?

well posting this question in the Club Car section would have been a good way to start, however I will answer to the best of my ability.....

From what I understand, if you pull the F&R handle off, then remove the 3 bolts holding the F&R switch to the body, you can then look at the connecting bars inside the switch. If they are silver in color, they are stock, if they are a thick copper bar, it is HD...... hope that helps.
