G 14 Carb Adjustment.
Put a new carb and fuel pump on my G14. When I first installed it the motor would hesitate a bit when you put it to the floor so I adjusted the screw out a little. Now it will back fire at times.
Stock carb was out one turn, that's where I started. I might be out 2 now I can't remember. What are they usually set at? |

Re: G 14 Carb Adjustment.
Mine was at 1.2-1.5. The backfire can be caused be the throttle plate not closing properly.

Re: G 14 Carb Adjustment.
Thanks I'll check it tomorrow. Taking the kids truck or treating Saturday with it. Don't want to scare anyone.
