Welded rear end
So I welded my rear end and I now have all the traction I want but now it won't turn worth a darn. I have skinny tires up front (7") and they seem to just skid instead of turn. do you think normal size width tires would help

Re: Welded rear end
bigger tires will help but a welded rear will not want to turn because the outer rear wheel in a turn cannot turn faster than the inner wheel thus causing it to plow forward only causing now the turning radius to go from 10-12 ft to 30+ft now you can get both wheels churning now but your have now lost the ability to turn. everything is a trade off. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news especially since you were nice enough to buy some parts from me.
