Is there something in the drivetrain that could cause this?
It might be just brake shoes scraping the drums.

But I would check or maybe just change the rear end fluid before driving to far. There are two plugs on the left side of the differential case, the lower one is for draining the upper one is for filing. It holds 22-23 oz's of fluid, and the book calls for SAE 30 Motor oils. I just changed mine to Royal purple synthetic, I found it at O'rileys auto parts.

Yea, fluid change is on my to do list as well onve i get everything torn down. Now debating HD rear springs as it looks like the cart has a slight lean to the driver side. The front will be fixed with the 6" A-arm kit so maybe a swap on the rear will help level things out.

Don't expect the a arm kit to help. Mine has the same affliction before and after. Gonna pull the main leaf on the low side and re arch it one of these nights. Course you could tell anyone who notices, that you just have to make a track bar and wedge adjustment.

With the body being that cheap it let me pick up an older cheaper cart knowing i was gonna tear it all down and start from scratch anyway.
Great buy!

Yea, I'm in Orlando so just be taking the long trip down Hwy 50 to Brooksville to pick up the body when they're done building it.

Haha great advise, gonna start with the front kit and hopefully having the new springs up there makes it less noticeable, if not I'll swap out rear springs as well.
