Re: best charger?
It's unfortunate, their relation with Ezgo has really tarnished their reputation and name. If they make a good charger I didn't find it in an Ezgo or a Gem Car, was Gem Car another exclusive build?

Re: best charger?
The Delta-q Quiq (yellow/black) is not really a bad charger, has some good & some bad points. Good- programmable for different profiles (holds up to 10 onboard), wide range of input power (100-240v). Bad- terrible heat issues when installed in enclosed spaces (like Gem & 2five). It "throttles way back" when hot, and the heat stress is a nemesis to charger life. The models with built-in dc/dc convertors seem to be more troublesome. If i were to put one under the seat like 2five, i would never charge without seat propped up. I would not install in a space that is not ventable, like inside the dash on Gem. BTW- Gem came with three different models of charger, only the yellow/black one is a DeltaQ.
