Schauer charger versus Power Wise stock charger
I have a 36 volt stock EZ GO 1999 DCS cart. I bought the Schauer charger so it would float charge during winter. I tried the Schauer out and it ran about a half hour and shut off. I am conditioning my new batteries so the cart was not discharged much before I plugged in. Out of curiosity I immediately plugged in the old Powerwise. it is still running two hours later. and you can smell acid fumes like crazy (which is normal with my stock charger). SO is the Schauer not charging the cart enough? Or is this old Powerwise overcharging and outgassing my batteries?? thanks in advance for any insights.
