Default Adapting a Power wise charger to a Marathon

Hello All, I purchased this Powerwise charger off of Ebay for a sweet deal. Now I want to splice the 91 controller Marathon plug but to my surprise, the Power wise has three wires in the plug. I am assuming the red wire in the middle has something to do with the auto-shutoff function. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance....AJWASHERE

Don't worry about the red little wire. You can take it out if you want to. Just make sure you have the polarity right for the marothone connector.

Thanks Andy! Is it safe to assume the black wire is positive?

Look at the cart plug and see which connection is + and make sure you hook that one up to the right one in the handle. If I'm not mistaken the powe wise charger plug is marked also. Just make sure you get them right.

NOPE! Black is not positive! Unless you need a welder that is. Anyways, I hooked up the red and black to negative and the white to positive. It started charging and all looked good. I dont know if it will shut off on its own though.
