Mine runs but I'm pretty sure it wont charge. I cant find a wiring diagram, all the ones I found are not the same color wires. I looked at your thread and it looks like you have less wires? I really just need to see a stock 390 wiring so I can connect color to the right color.

I am pretty sure the rectifier Is the grey box in the last picture. At least that's what they look like on motorcycles

I think the little box over the key switch has something to do with the low oil sensor. (I May be wrong)

to be honest I have been starting it from jump box straight to the starter and ground to the block. I plan on using 8 gauge wire from the starter to the battery. the wire from the key to the starter I think is 16 or 14 gauge. Id make sue all your grounds are good

The circuit breaker in the box goes inline with the 3a charge, then into 12v. 12v goes to the key for the start position only, it gives out 12v to the starter solenoid only when in start. Ground goes into the key it passes ground to the ignition when off, not when on it passes nothing. All you have to do is follow those wires out to figure out what is what. The oil sensor connects to the ignition kill I think, before the key, so it can kill it anytime by grounding it.
