Default Quieting down a gas cart

I just traded in my CC electric for a EFI Yamaha gas cart. Love the cart but hate the noise. Anyone had luck making it quieter?

Kolpin makes a stealth ATV exhaust that boasts no performance issues for a fair price. It bolts to the existing exhaust outlet.

Maybe check out a junk yard for some insulation from under a hood?

I had an older G14 Yamaha it was always loud. Rebuilt the motor and it ran like a champ, but it was still noisy. It was more in the valvetrain than the exhaust. Can't speak to the newer ones, but wonder if it is similar.

I would try some heat shield/soundproofing unless you are sure it is exhaust sound.

Good luck!

Does this go for gas club cars too? I'm thinking about going to gas before I commit to going 48v.
