how to wire tow/ run switch to dash?
I bought two fancy toggle switches with covers so i could move my tow switch and speed chip jumper to the dash. However when i opened the control unit box i noticed there are 4 wires on both speed chip jumper and the tow/ run toggle. How do i add in a switch to those four wires. Thanks

The run tow switch is, I believe, a DPDT switch. You can buy one in toggle or rocker style. I have seen them in 2 sizes lighted or colored...just google around the net for them.

Scotty's got the the Run/Tow switch covered.
 You need to make/break the two jumper wires on the PDS Mode "chip" separately. You can get all four modes with two SPST switches or a 4 position rotary switch. I only use Freedom and Mild hill, so I only use one SPST switch that makes/breaks the jumper between pins 2 & 3. I have no need or desire to change modes on the fly, so my switches are still under the seat. |
