Matt's Build Thread
I have been wanting to build a V-twin Golf Cart for a while now so here it is!
Straight out of the bone yard. I am starting with a 1997 EZGO 36 volt cart. Haha! The goods. :) Swapping in a gasser rear end. Old battery trays plasma cut outta there. Frame painted, lift, gas rear end installed. Let the build up start happening. |

Re: Matt's Build Thread
Thanks! I am finished with the cart(for now) but have been having way too much fun riding it to take any new pics. I made this one GA street legal and drive it to work everyday. How does it get any better than that? Plans are to build a roll cage with a black soft top like the one in my avatar. High speed gears maybe.
How do the 23hp briggs handle 8:1 gears? I'm wanting a better cruising gear but we have some big hills around here too. Also I dont know which set to order for the large or small bearing. I have no idea what year cart the rear end came from but the serial number on the rear end is 97G110. Is that a 1997 which would be a large bearing? |

Re: Matt's Build Thread
So let me get this straight...you are driving this to work with no body? Good way to be able to showw your handy work.
This is a very neat build. Very informative as to how to change a sparky over to a gasser. |
