Does anyone know the standard bore size of a G1.

Thats not good My cyl. is at 69.2 and the piston is 68.73 do you think the .100 would work ? that piston should be 69mm right.

I'm at a loss. I'm suposed to know this, guess I'm getting older and can't remember all the part numbers and spec's. Yamaha sells .25/.50/.75/1.00 oversized piston and rings for G1's and I can not find any spec's for you in the service manual, sorry. You can buy a cylinder kit, "cylinder/piston/rings/pin/clips from many site sponsor's. Did you clean the top of the piston and get any identifiying numbers. Wish I could have been more help.
