Default Rxv top speed

I have a rxv and I put my gps on it and top speed was at 27 mph. Can I tell if someone has done anything to make it faster or is this speed normal?

It has high speed gears installed. Stock speed is never more than 19mph.

Oops... Sounds like the extra speed is due to the larger tires. Probably stock.

doesnt ez-go offer a "personality plug" for the newer electric carts? it just looks like a 5 pin molex connector with a bunch of jumpers in it, simple to make if you could find a jumper diagram.

Do the ac motors make more noise than the dc?

A different noise, yes. High pitch noise from motor, louder than high pitch noise from controller on a dc cart.
