Default Kubota golf cart build, Nothing serious!

Hi,

My name is Brad. I am a diesel enthusiast that loves anything diesel. This build started with the want for a sidexside to go ride with my buddies. I had a 500cc Honda motor in my garage and started throwing around the idea of putting it in a golf cart. So i looked on craigslist and couldn't find a nice Cart. so i started searching for "golf cart tires" to see if i could run across someone that was selling a Cart. Well i found an add that showed part of a golf cart in the background. I called the gentlemen and asked if he was selling the golf cart, It was a little weird at first being that he didn't know how i knew he hd it . He then said he had a few so i went over to his place and looked at the carts and ended up buying the one i saw on the add. His name is Jeff aka "RIFTER", it was my first time meeting him and it was a pleasure. He showed me his builds and his current projects he was woking on and shared quite a bit of his knowledge with me, He is a super nice guy. So after awhile my thought and dreams got bigger and i sold my 500cc and went north to buy a G5200 Kubota Tractor with intensions on using this motor for the Cart. I then was thinking of ways to transfer the power to the wheels Belt Drive, Hydro, auto trans., manual trans. i threw out the belt idea due to it slipping when it got wet. I started searching for transmission ideas and ran across the old cushman 3spd. I searched for info on them here and found some useful info and had a few members help me with my questions. I found a Cushman trans. a little north of me on craigslist. I went to the gentlemen's house and he restored cushman mini bikes and had a few of these transmissions laying around. Once i acquired the trans. I then began pondering about how to mate the D600 and the 3spd. I sat in my garage starring at the two objects waiting for them to mate themselves .........it never happened. So i got out the drawing board and started designing a bell housing. After that was sent off to be cut out i had the flywheel machined to adapt the clutch and pressure plate. OK let me stop boring you with my run on sentences and horrible writing and show you some pictures, ENJOY

Haha yea I figured I'd help the old mildew girl left to rot. In the process of buying a new house so the cart is tucked away in storage right now
