the bed was alot more work than i thought. prolly could have done a cople of things different/better, but OCD about makes me crazy, and i have to move on

I've been been thinking about mounting a tool box under the bed. to gain access to it, you have to raise the bed. Ill take a pic to show what im talking about tomorrow.
Im hoping to have stickers for it tomorrow, also. the sticker store may be open for family this week, we'll see

Hey Sam you should show pics of how your write everything down on your cart. I've started doing it and I think it's a tip a lot of people could benefit from.
For example Sam took a sharpie and wrote on the rear axle the exact amount and what type of fluid goes in it. He's done that all over his cart so he doesn't have to remember or write it in a note book that might get lost.

Jon, did you read up a post or two where I mentioned OCD?
My name is Sam, and have OCD.........
I can get a pic of that axle. I take a paint pen and mark things i don't want to have to remember that are scattered all over the garage. I do it to my cars for oil weight, and capacity.
don't be giving out any more of my secrets Jonny!

I'm sorry Sam but I figured that one would really go along ways towards helping every one else.

Sam
Your cart looks amazing. I got your PM last night and as soon as im done with this post ill resend a PM to you. Awesome job on the bed for the cart. It looks like it was factory done. I saw that you mentioned something about getting the front axle all centered up and welded. Are you not using the leaf springs for suspension or are you relying on the coil over shocks for suspension? If so are you going to make it a 4 link?

Here is a sample of my parts marking. Im also a sticker collector/ i have a whole footlocker full of collected stickers i hope to put on a wall one day. And i have my wife make me stickers for all sorts of things. ie: Ellsworth construction on my ladders, Ellsworth Racing on my motorcycle.... I digress.

I like that the bed lifts up and the seat to open up for room to work on things under the "hood"

thought of mounting the tool box under the bed, on the hitch plate. Only way to get to it is to lift the bed, but there's room for storage.

When the bed is down I bet the tool box looks like a fuel cell you sometimes see hiding underneath some nice hi performance vehicles.
