Default V-glide bypass - what parts?

Hey y’all
Looking to bypass my v-glide, 1993 DS 36v
I’ve searched but can’t seem to find what solenoid I need to purchase, does anybody have a link or part # they care to share?
Thanks
Paul

You’re bypassing it and replacing it with what exactly?

Use the same type of Solenoid that You use for your cart, or upgrade your cart solenoid and use the old one for the by-pass.

You can not use a diode on the by-pass solenoid coil.

You have to run the Reverse at Full voltage.

I did mine a couple of weeks ago and got a Trombetta relay off amazon for $20, it’s apparently the same one a lot of the EzGo RXVs use and had good numbers as far as current capacity go. I have one of the HD 400a for my main relay but since I plan to do a controller conversion in the near future I decided not to pony up the $$ for another one. It seems to be working out well, we did the bypass before a trip last month and there is a hill where I used to go from 12mph to about 8mph and this trip I only dropped to 10mph. I also added bigger tires this weekend and with the family on board the motor still seems to develop full RPMs so I can say this easy mod has satisfied my needs until I do a conversion. I also have fresh 4ga wires everywhere.

The part number I used is for a trombetta 684-3681-012-14.
