precedent started then stopped several times today

2011 club car started and then stopped and then started rolling again several times today. It did it again tonight. I turned the key switch off and the curtiss volt meter light only dimmed instead of going out like normal. I turned the run/tow switch off and back on again and the cart ran like normal again. Ideas/suggestions? All mods done are in my sig line. Cart has been running excellent until tonight.

just got home a few minutes ago but the key switch crossed my mind about being bad, however, the thing about it not running until I cycled the run/tow switch kind of throws me.

The KSI SRO fault, which means the controller sensed the Key already ON when the logic power (Tow/Run) was sensed, would have required a Tow/Run power cycle.

Did You get any error blinks on the Controller?

Check the 16-pin to 24-pin adapter is fully inserted, the controller connectors are seated and the Tow/Run switch connections are good as well.

thanks! I will check all of this tomorrow when I get home from work. Hopefully it will not be as long as this one was today.

sergio, i just looked up that KSI SRO in the 1268 manual. Would a bad switch or loose wire from/on the switch cause that and why cycling the tow/run switch let me go again?

If any of those connections I mentioned was loose and caused the "Logic Power" pin on the controller 24-pin connector to "bounce" while the Key switch was ON, it would have activated that fault until You repeated the Power ON sequence with the Key OFF.

I cannot think of any other "Critical Error" that would require a Tow/Run cycle.

Definitively look for blinking error codes on the Controller (before You put it on Tow) if You have the problem again.
