club car, still runs like a turtle
well ,not sure whats next. This 2008 club car turf carryall is still running very slow,
I didn't waist time on the other batteries, still drove it in slow motion so I got brand new ones. I have replaced, Curtis 48 volt 500 A motor controller, put in new speed sensor, new solenoid. took motor out and cleaned it and checked brushes, ( where like new} and this thing is still crawling. It goes right up steep hills just very slow. Thanks guys for all your help. |

Re: club car, still runs like a turtle
Where did you get the speed sensor?
The Chinese crap off of ebay and cheapies on Amazon should be stayed away from. Might have gotten a bad one. My 06 Carryall was the same way, only went 6-8 MPH when I got it. Got a speed sensor from Revolution Golf Cars and as soon as I put it in, I was at 17 mph. Added the speed magnet and now I'm at 19-21 mph depending on what I'm driving on. |

Re: club car, still runs like a turtle
If you've done all that other work, I'm thinking you got a bad one.Give Dave at Revolution Golf Cars a call. He can diagnose better than most here.
Plus, he'll hook you up with a good quality speed sensor if that's what you need. 706-836-7210 http://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/store |

Did you use the method(s) contained in here? http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...excel-obc.html That gives most every scenario for this.

What color are the wires on the sensor? Red, Green, and Black, or Red, Blue, and Black? If it has a blue wire, it should have come with a fortune cookie.
