CP241, I have three OEM coils and all have spark plug wires on them. Maybe he did change them ? I just noticed his last post and indeed he did change them

Ok sorry, I wasnt sure if the new coils came with wires or not. Are they OEM coils?

Maybe a long shot, and I dont know if that would donit or not, but maybe try running a ground strap directly to the ignitor body. I would think a bad ground would affect noth cylinders and not just 1, but it's easy enough that it's worth a shot.

Out of curiosity, because I dont recall reading it, what spark plugs are you running?

I replaced the CDI Box for the 3rd time and reset the gap on the pulse pickup to .015 and it seemed to solve our problem maybe this could help you ,I know some aftermarket ignition parts do not work well !

I just took my pickup coil off and do not know what it should ohm out at. This one is 232 ohms. There is no adjustment on my pickup coil.
I recently put in 2 new Chinese igniter coils both were junk found a used oem igniter got back to where I was firing on one side.

Maybe it's the pickup coil? Do you know what the ohm range should be on good pick-up coil?
thanks

Thank Everyone!
Checked gap on pick-up coil still no difference. (Tried .015 & .020) Still just getting spark on long wire off coil (it will fire either plug) and getting 12 volt to coil. Checked starter generator while turning over 14.5 volts. Put on used igniter box OEM no change. Grounds are cleaned and new added.
Does anyone know what automotive coil would work this? The new coil has been tested ok but maybe not under load?
