Default Club Car power

I am looking at buying a cart (Club Car) The lady says it acts like it is going dead and will not pull hills. She has replaced all the batteries with no results. What should I check?

It may have a loose connection somewhere. I would look over all the connections on the cart and make sure they're all clean and tight.

I will call her about the serial number. Where would it be located on the cart?

Leave that cart sit where it is. That's a 1985.

Its a 1985 club car... so it's a 36v vehicle...

it has 5 solenoids connected to a series of microswitches to control speed...

If you are having a power problem pulling hills, then you more than likely need a motor, or motor repair. However, repair on the motor is unlikely, its 22 years old..

For more sad news, the frame does not easily accomodate upgrading to a more stable electrical system... A large portion of your front end parts are no longer in production.

With all that being said, check your battery voltage from the beginning positive to the ending negative... they may have a battery in backwards reducing power...
