G14 Battery will not stay charged?
I have a G14 cart and the started quit. I replace it with a new one and a new battery at that time. Since then my battery will not stay charged. I had a new voltage regulator put on and now the battery continues to run down. I had the battery tested and it is fine. With the cart in N and rev the engine the engine .It has 12.5 volts at the battery on the tester. I need help with this. What volts should I expect and how to check to see if it is the starter or voltage regulator or something else. Thanks for your time.

Re: G14 Battery will not stay charged?
Since you seem to have replaced everything, double check the starter/generator connections to make sure it is connected properly.
Starter/generator is setup like this: F2 (front of st/gen) connects to short pos. cable coming off the solinoid, A1 (passenger side bottom) connects to the neg. side of battery, A2 (passenger side top) wraps around to the back of the starter/generator to F1 (small red cable from side to back of st/gen.). |

Re: G14 Battery will not stay charged?
I have it fix but I dont know exactly how. I checked the voltage at the battery. Then unplugged the green wire from the starter and plugged it back in and checked my voltage again at the battery and it was 14.5 . better than 12. thanks for your help.
