Re: Battery Indicator Light
I am not sure what the battery pack voltage has to drop to to get that thing to come on but, I do know that the battery manufactures recommend NOT drawing the pack down below 50% capacity. Permanent plate damage will result from repeatedly doing so. Use a voltmeter to check and see what your pack voltage is after a day's use to be sure you are not cutting the pack life short by over draining. Consider installing a digital battery state of charge gauge. Good Luck

Re: Battery Indicator Light
Thanks. I suspect it is a 50% indicator.

Re: Battery Indicator Light
Since we just got this cart (a conversion to 48v) and we didn't know if we could get 2 rounds of golf out of it. The light came on briefly for the first time after 18 holes and then went out. Just wondering if that means it is at 50% capacity or 25% or whatever.

Re: Battery Indicator Light
Don't assume anything.... the idicator is just an idiot light and as such, can be way off. Use a voltmeter to check the pack voltage. 2 rounds can be alot of usage? Over draining can result in shorter battery lifespan . Good Luck

Re: Battery Indicator Light
Thanks for your help. I just checked it, and it's showing the correct reading according to the table you attached. I think I'll install the digital guage like you said.
