Default 1985 Electric EZ-Go motor runs in Fwd/REV

I am currently working on an 1985 electric EZ-Go. with no manualor wiring schematics. Problem is , motor runs when Fwd and Rev is switched from neutral without pressing the accelerator? Also the ignition switch has no effect on fwd/rev switch! Any clues to start or help with a wiring diagram

Do you hear a solenoid clicking when you go to forward or reverse? If not you have a solenoid stuck, and need to invest about $20 to replace it.

I still highly suggest a solenoid, if it stuck once, it will go that route again. It can cause a lot more problems if left unchecked.

rusted out floorpan? The only part they offer as a replacement is the battery racks. Other than that, you just manufacture it, and weld.
