Oil Level with lift?
What is the oil capacity on the old flat head kf82 motors? I have a 91 club car ds, I just installed a 6" lift, do you guys run more oil in the crank case with the lifts? the engine is at a pretty steep angle since the lift.

Hi KRAZYMATT, Don't know about the kf82 motors, But after lifting EZGO 295cc run the same amount of oil quart and a half and remarked the dip stick to where the full line is, which shows about half full.

i just wondering as the kf82 motors use a splash lubrication system and didnt know with the motor being at the angle if the oil slinger was accually still picking up oil when the motor runs...

That's why I lowered the front motor cradle as well, I dropped mine three inches. I lifted the cart 7", and it's a 01 ds cc, dropping the front motor cradle as well help keep a more level factory ride for the motor, the dip stick still showed a fuz low and I just added oil to fill line on the stick ( took maybe a bout half cup of oil to fill to dipstick mark)
