1st time owner of EZGO TXT Cart
I am new to your forum and I am a 1st time owner of a 2003 EZGO TXT:
Manufacture Code: E103 Serial No: 1596478 This seems to be a very nice cart, well taken care of and it has new tires, brakes and batteries. However; I had an issue with the PowerWise II charger yesterday, which, I believe I have properly diagnosed and resolved by ordering a new relay. What I am seeking now is some advice and guidance on proper care and maintenance of my cart and advice on the specific type, and proper installation of a battery charge status meter indicator. This model does not have a battery charge status meter indicator and I certainly want to install one, so I am seeking advice from knowledgeable members of this forum. Also, I am seeking knowledge about the new battery configuration in this cart. It seems like many other threads in this forum discuss 6 - 6 volt batteries; however, the battery configuration in my cart is 3-12 volt deep cycle batteries? So far I have not noticed any performance issues. The batteries appear to be an upgrade, but are they going to cause damage? Any of advice will be greatly appreciated! |
