Default Picked up a club car today!

smoking deal on an 86 cc, got it home and noticed a broken throttle cable and blown fuse under the black box that houses the solenoid. Rigged those right quick and put the charger too it, has to jump the micro switch by the solenoid to get the engine to turn what little it did. thinking the starter/gen needs a rebuild. If I pull a spark plug it rolls over much faster. thoughts?

yes it will roll over faster with the spark plug pulled , there is no compression
make sure battery is fully charged then crank it , if still slow then look at starter/gen
check wiring

piddles with it again today, took off the starter/gen and pulled brushed and sanded the inside (armature?) the starter gen works fine without a load. hooked a boost pack to it and it spins but sometimes it wouldn't and id have to roll it over by hand. One very short brush inside. But once I put the belt on and it has a load on it it don't want to spin barely at all. What normally causes this???
