Default 2006 TXT Possibilities

Hi all,

Been a while since I’ve visited. I have a 2006 TXT 36 v cart. I had my motor done by Plum Quick a couple of years ago. Upgraded the controller as well. The cart will do a solid 24MPH last I tested it. When that was done I had a shop pull the body and I took it to the shop that painted my Cessna 172 and had the cart painted the exact same color. I recovered the seats and repainted the roof.

I say all that to say I want to keep this cart.

That said, I was wondering what more I can do to pick up some speed and endurance and what shops are out there that are competent to evaluate what I have and map out a plan for upgrading considering a clean slate approach.

You could go back to PQ and ask if they have a bigger faster motor for your existing upgrades.

They are top of list, but want to put everything on the table (not just motor) and see what’s the best route. Basically I’m looking for a “performance consultant” to nail down a plan. I thought maybe someone here could talk to me off line.

A good shop that does performance upgrades like this in the southeast would be great but I don’t know of any and would welcome recommendations.

Dc to AC conversion

36 to 48v system

Lithium batteries - maybe 72 volts?

Can I reuse the Bandit motor?

Can I reuse the Navitas PDS System 44-Amp 36-Volt Controller Kit W| Bluetooth - 2000-00 EZGO TXT
