Default Solenoid not clicking

So my cart died a few months ago and I am getting around to fixing it. When it went out the solenoid had stopped clicking. I went through the tests and it seemed it was bad. I ordered a new one and still get the same thing. It has an electronic pedal setup from carts unlimited, alltrax, magnetic switcher etc. The pedal has power. The alltrax has power, the big posts have power on the solenoid. I am not getting power between the small posts it seems. I’ve traced all the wires and everything is as it was prior to it stopping working. Any ideas to try?

Guessing that this is a PDS cart based on the wire colors. Do you have power on the small yellow wire with the negative on pack negative. Then check for voltage with one lead on the yellow and the other on blue.

It’s an old marathon that I took all the old electronics from. I did a complete conversion kit. The small yellow wire on the left side goes to the middle post on the f/r switch.

So I hooked up the alltrax to the computer and it is showing the throttle readings, no errors. Does anyone know if there is a way to test the reversing contractors? I’m not sure if that would come into play or not if the solenoid is not clicking. But the contactor usually makes some noise as well.

So I get power on both sides of the big terminals. I also get power on both small terminals if I put negative on the pack negative.

It is wired per this diagram. Every wire is in this configuration as it was prior to when it randomly stopped working. I guess that’s why I am confused. Either I got a bad brand new solenoid or there is something else going on that I am missing.

Well.. The color of the wires I see in the pictures look like a PDS cart but your diagram you show is for a series.. If it truly is a series the negative side of the solenoid goes to pack negative..

Yes sorry color of wires was based on what I had in the rack at the time. It is a series cart. So the negative would go to pack negative vice the b+ in the diagram?
