Default Precedent Charger question

hi, I have a Precedent with a 2019 ERIC charger. I've been toying with changing it over to Trojan lithium battery so I've changed the algorithm. I noticed when i plug the charger into the mains and didnt hook it up to the batteries the orange light was flashing, is this just a warning signal to show i havent hooked the batteries up? When i do hook thr batteries up the charger charges the batteries fine

I wouldn’t recommend charging FLA batteries with a lithium algorithm. It’s not going to charge them correctly. I’d put it back the way it was until you buy lithium batteries

Make sure you use a charger that's approved by your battery manufacturer. Your warranty might be impacted if you use a non-approved charger.

That's what Trojan recommends if it's a programmable charger. Or at least that's what my distributor says. I haven't used them yet. Waiting to here more feedback. For that price I think the 105AH single unit packs are the better way to go. Most of them have higher output BMS, and only has one. These have a BMS for each battery.
