Reverse buzzer quit working... now won't go forward/reverse
Our reverse buzzer quit working within the past couple weeks... Had some free time, so I opened it up... Realized one of the wires to the reverse/forward switch was disconnected. Began blindly trying to plug it back in (the male connectors are at the bottom of the switch).
Heard the horn beep once, and then a little zap. Believe I touched it against the other leg of the connector and it shorted something out. The second leg of the connector had broken off inside of the wire connector. I've purchased a new switch, but my assumption is that when I replace it the cart isn't just going to fire back up because of me shorting it. Proactively, while i'm waiting for that switch, is there anything else I can check to see if I've done other damage? Most of the topics I'm finding on this subject is on the electric EZGOs, and it frying the controller. |

There is a fuse next to the starter solenoid under the cover on the drivers side.

Was the cart running and driving other then no reverse buzzer previous to this?

Mhm.. Which issues might those be? Lol. Gonna look for the fuse the poster above mentioned when I get time.
