I have the same problem... I also have a programmed cart with the motor speed raised. I do think the problems come from the increase amprage pull with upping the motor speed. Your essentially depleating the batteries too much then they dont have time to regenerate. If you stop and turn the cart off for 10-15min most of the power does come back.
