Default '85 Cushman Truckster carb swap?

It's been awhile since my last visit. "Cushie" has been at work daily as my barn muckmobile.
Alas, the Keihin carb has started leaking, and needs parts; float and needle, maybe the accel pump diaphragm, bowl gasket, . . .
Some of this is unobtanium, or silly-expensive if you do find one listed.
Does anybody know of an inexpensive replacement carburetor that will work on this critter? How about the older Zenith carb; will these fit? I found some listed; expensive, like $500, but a possibility if it will work.
Again, this is a working barn tool, not a restoration project, so I don't really care about authenticity; just need it to run. Reworking the linkages isn't a problem. Anything beats a hand-drawn muck cart :-P
Any thoughts greatly appreciated! TIA! Steve (and George, the Mule)

No? Well, always hopeful
I rummaged thru my junk box and found a snowmobile carb that looks like it might fit with a little bit of work. Guess I'll give it a try.
It was on an ~50HP twin cylinder/twin carb engine, so the fuel flow ought to be in the ballpark. Somehow I doubt it's real critical; that OMC engine isn't exactly a high performance mill.
Will report back one way or another; might be a week or two.
