Lightbulb Cushman Hubs Interchange With Club Car?

Has anyone tried using Club Car front hubs on a Cushman Golfster? The bearing ID is the same... Just trying to save on the super expensive wheel adapters. $45 for a pair of hubs compared to $125 for 2 adapters.
