1978 ezgo 3 wheeler electric
I have an old 78 ezgo electric cart, problem that I'm having is it just runs half speed when pressing the pedal all the way down. I have 6.5 volts on all 6 batteries. But when I check pack voltage I'm only getting 20 volts, even after its fully charged. Why is it I'm getting full readings on the 6 batteries but can only get 2o volts after its charged. We put a new resistor board in it because the copper studs was messed up. How do I get 36 volts back in a old ezgo?
Thanks Terry |

Re: 1978 ezgo 3 wheeler electric
You are unlikely to get an answer in the gas Yamaha forum! You need to post in the electric Ezgo forum.
If your picture is how it is currently wired, I suggest you wire the full pack in series. There seems to be a lot of wires randomly connected to various places that do not make any sense to me. There is one battery post not even connected to anything as far as i can see. I think you need to find the relevant wiring diagram and re wire this thing from scratch. |
