Does it stay closed reliably? Or is it opening randomly while driving?

once it closes, it is fine. I have to cycle the off/fwd/reverse switch a few times before the cart will move when I press the pedal. Sometimes, I flip the switch from off to forward, then step on the accelerator pedal, and nothing happens. I have to let off of the accelerator pedal, switch back to off, then forward a few times, and then it will go when I step on the accelerator. I just installed the new SW200 solenoid. It is the 36/48 v version. I will see if this problem still exists with the new solenoid, or if the old solenoid was causing the problem.

Was this always a problem on the cart? There is a HPD sequence that would prevent driving, like pressing the pedal before you turned the key to FWD or REV. That's unrelated to the type of solenoid you used - if you have a handset scanner see if you are getting an faults when it behaves like that.
