Default Someone please post a pic of the rear lowering blocks on Club Car DS

I’m having trouble with the bracket that holds the shock and brake cable. Sorry pic is sideways. But the height distance is too much I think. I can’t put it on top of the block because then I lose usage of the alignment pin

Ok none of you posted so I designed a plate to extend the mount for the brake cable. I then welded it to the existing mount. Looks like it’s going to work. I’m using 3” blocks btw.

Advance Auto Parts sells an Autocraft 3” lowering block kit for $40. Comes with u bolts. The blocks are a hair wide for the leaf spring but it can be made to work. U bolts will need trimmed after being installed. Aside from cutting and welding my own bracket the job wasn’t bad. I’ll post pics soon. I’m tackling the front now

Thought I’d add a pic of the front for others to reference. Flipped the leaf spring. Cut off part of the shock mount. Bought some 1” square tubing and welded it to the shock tower then welded the piece I cut off to it. No change in ride. I have 14” wheels so the fenders hit the tires. I cut off a lot of plastic to get it back on.

Question for Reelop19:

Where did you find the front wheel extension kit. I have a 95 CC DS and am thinking about moving the shock tower and whole setup forward an inch. I would need to drill the new holes through the frame. I attached a few pics of our build.

How did you move the front wheels forward?
