Re: Vc 460
I didn't look as closely at the dates. For anyone in a hurry glad you did.

Re: Vc 460
My ignition switch has been acting funny and haven't had time lately to check it. When I saw the moving notice I quickly put in an order for a replacement. In the nick of time. I was planning to look at it this weekend.

Re: Vc 460
Did more island touring today in Vicki. We found a painted rock. Haven't found one in ages. The GF took it and kept it so no pics this time. As long as the GF is happy I am happy. I am sure the Island rock will have an interesting trip from Philly where ever it goes next.P.S. We have had one Island rock turn up in Paris and one in South Africa. So some times they travel far from home.

Re: Vc 460
When I ordered the 1/8" npt-3/8" hose barb fitting for my Omega's crankcase vent I ordered 2. The second one replaced the metric air tool fitting I was using on Vicki's valve cover vent seen on page 2 of this thread.Believe it or not there is a noticeable power gain by this simple improvement. You can compare that to page 4 of my VC 460 Omega build to see the difference.

Re: Vc 460
With Vicki's Post Office run today I see on the hour meter I am at 19+ hours since my last oil change. I will pass 20 sometime this week for sure. Sometimes I wonder how my hobbies always involve getting dirty. It is funny I put one of the E bay el cheapo tachs with the our meter on Vicki way back in 2008 when she was a stocker and it is still working. I have the Equus 8068 on her for the rpms but the tiny tach is my only method for recording engine hours. P.S. The dreaded GREEN HEADS have also arrived so that may limit some outdoor fun.

Re: Vc 460
There are a group of people, some artist that hide painted rocks, sea shells and sea glass with some art work with the date and the fortescue island location put on them. People find them where they may keep ,relocate near by, relocate off the island and in some cases relocate in another country or continent. They then can be refound and there location logged into #Fortescue Rocks#4TSQ on facebook or some other rock posting site. When we find them either the GF or her son relocates in PA somewhere. The most distant so far was in South Africa with turning up in Ireland or Germany. Some of our finds can be found on my thread "painted traveling rocks" in the general BS section.
