To be fair, they may be making the BMS here as well. Wonder if the BMS uses china chips and who wrote the BMS firmware. |

Re: Trojan 48V lithium
I myself ordered the 3 Trojan Lithium-Ion batteries. I'm kind of at a standstill until I figure out a few things. Here's my dilemma, open to ALL information and suggestions. I'd like to have the Curtis controller reprogrammed on my 2012 EZGO RXV. My current solenoid is a 36v, would like to make the switch to 48v before reprogramming. Would the 3 batteries (90ah) be enough to run the solenoid without hiccups? I've talked to 1 reputable individual that says it could possibly cause issues. I'm not debating whether it will or won't, but I would like to know what I can do to resolve or eliminate the issue if there's one. Someone mentioned the batteries tested closer to 75ah. I'm no electrician, so how do I go about this upgrade? Or, should I not with the Trojan Lithium-Ion batts...?

Re: Trojan 48V lithium
The stock 48v EZGO RXV solenoid won't cause you any problems. There has been very few problems with the stock RXV solenoids. Most everyone that had a problem the solenoids were not new but over worked and old. I better add that the first series of solenoids EZGO used in the RXV's were not very good back in 2008 or so.
