Re: Old School EZGO Marathon Club!
I just picked up a 1992. Needs some love, but the drivetrain seems solid. I have a few issues to handle, mostly a frame repair, one spot to cut out and weld in new metal on the body, clean the carb, then cosmetics.
If we can still pick numbers, is mine available? 1369 BTW, I get ahead of myself a lot. HI, my name is Joe, and I have an obsession with all things mechanical No pics, yet, but I should get some up soon |

Re: Old School EZGO Marathon Club!
I have an old 1986 Electric EZGO Marathon. Needs some work done to it right now. Hope to make time to work on it after the summer. My current project list is too long to fit in at the moment. Plus I have a newer model Club Car President gas cart that we use most of the time.

Re: Old School EZGO Marathon Club!
Hello hello. My name is Mike and I am starting an ‘86 electric marathon. Have upgraded all the wiring to 2/0 welding cable, 10 awg for light duty wiring. Installed a 36v lifepo and the cart has much better uumph. New to the forum an already enjoying the search capabilities. Most of my questions are already answered Thanks and look forward to interacting with the group. Thank you

Re: Old School EZGO Marathon Club!
I'll Take #2012 if it's cool
93' EZGO Marathon purchased for 1K, barely ran, complete POS. Completely resored/rebuild/fabrictaed everything with the exception of the rear dif/axle assembly and engine (i'm working on those over this winter). The cart was build as an upgrade for my wives ice cream business. Currently, we have the only street legal golf cart in South Central Alaska. And the only golf cart in the entire state that happens to be registered and used as an ice cream truck. -I've found that even though the vin indicates a '93, some of the parts are off of an 82 - 88. This I have learned the hard way..... |
