He can use his stock control. Eco Battery offers a complete combo with charger, 12v reducer, and in-dash monitor. It's basically a drop in kit.

"Tightwad" and "golf cart" don't go real well together....... :)
I'm gonna throw my vote in for Eco as well; stand up guys and a great product. |

I should have realized that if ScottyB was recommending and selling it they had to be good

Re: what is the best lithium battery set up for a club car?
It is what I have in my personal cart(s). 1 cart has 72ah which is fine for modest use. We have no issues or problems with it in our modified TXT48. Wife mostly runs her dogs around with it and I put a weed spray rig in it, used on hilly ground. 72ah works better than some would have you believe. I did install a low voltage alarm in this cart to alert the wife when to charge. Unfortunately these are still out of stock for another month.
Cart 2 has the 105ah pack in it. I like the added weight for better traction and the longer run time is nice. Both carts have bigger knobby tires and bigger motors, controllers, etc. If he can wait the 72ah pack was significantly cheaper. However - I wouldn't be surprised to see a price increase when the new stock hits the shores. The warranty is long and good. I have seen it work. Eco is a stand up company or we would no carry their product. I'm a big fan of the combo kits. Get everything at once knowing it all works well together. GL in your search |
