Should there be voltage across A1 and F2 when in forward position? I get 1.5 volts and 1.8ish volts across A2 and F1 in reverse. Could my f/r switch be leaking voltage somehow? Here is what the contacts look like on that.

Those contacts have been arcing. Look at the melted blobs on the sides of the contact lugs.

The copper contact plate is clean.

I would take that switch apart and clean everything.

I took it apart and.sandpapered the contacts. The front edge of the two bottom ones are pretty wore down.

I also tested the continuity of forward/reverse and it appears to be functioning. D to Ground continuity forward and B to Ground in reverse.

Pulled the starter just in case. Bearing spins silently and the brushes look good yet. Pulley spins with some friction noise but nothing grinding really.

I turned the two bad ones 180 degrees to see if that made a difference and it did not. I’m getting 11.7 volts on terminal F2 on the starter when I hit the gas. Not sure what kind of current is getting there though.
