Default 2008 Club Car Precedent - A good project car?

I am looking at a 2008 Club Car Precedent Gas - is this a good project car to lift with a jakes 6" kit? There are a couple for sale in my area for about $3000.

I am torn between this and an Ezgo. I have read a ton of details on this site and are open to opinions.

I build and sell custom Precedent electrics all day long. 90% of the service that I do for folks who bring their carts in with issues are EZGO. Now, I'm not saying that one is more or less likely to have issues, however in my experience it seems like I only ever have to fix broken EZGO stuff. I did have a 2005 Precedent gas model a couple weeks back but it sold fast.....in a stock configuration with Cragar SS wheels

That is a pretty good price. The gas carts COMMAND a premium, even through dealer channels. I don't normally stock or sell them for that reason.

Thanks! I picked it up, should be a sweet ride. Now need to figure out wheels/tires for a jakes 6" lift. I do want some sort of fancy wheels, not just black hubs. It will be at a lake area with sand and also out in some areas for hunting. Ideas??
